Crete: death on Maslenitsa (video)

In Agios Nikolaos, Crete, a young man died from a firecracker explosion. The tragedy occurred on March 17.

On Sunday evening, around 9:30 p.m., the man suffered serious injuries to the ribs and was immediately taken to a local hospital by ambulance in serious condition.

Doctors like reports CNN Greece fought to the last to save his life. However, the severity of his injuries left him no chance – the victim died after extensive bleeding.

The circumstances of the incident will be clarified using eyewitness testimony.
