According to media reports, the Legion of Freedom of Russia (LSR), the Russian Volunteer Corps and volunteers of the Siberian Battalion are taking part in breaking through the border of the Russian Federation. They entered the territory of the Belgorod region.
About this on March 12 reported Telegram channel Siberian Battalion, publishing a video of the advance of fighters along the forest. “We used to say that it would not be possible to overthrow the criminal dictatorial regime in the Russian Federation peacefully. It can only be eliminated with weapons in hand. This night we began to fulfill our promise. Fierce fighting continues on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the message says.
The Telegram channel reports that Russian volunteers have advanced in several directions in the Grayvoronsky district. Later, LSR showed footage of the breach of the Russian border, where it is clear that Russian volunteers made a breakthrough into Russian territory at night using heavy equipment.
Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov commented on the breakthrough of the Russian border by volunteers, writes edition “Correspondent”:
“The Legion “Freedom of Russia”, RDK, “Siberian Battalion” on the territory of the so-called Russian Federation act autonomously as independent structures and organizations, fulfilling their socio-political tasks.”
He added that, probably, now we are talking about a joint operation of these structures in this territory: “In the end, they are citizens of the Russian Federation and have every right to do this.”
