Facebook and Instagram are down and users have been kicked out of their accounts.
Some users cannot log in at all, while others do not have pages refreshed. An error appears during authorization. The system asks you to try to log in to your account again.
Downdetector notes that users complain en masse that they cannot log into Facebook and Instagram. Downdetector also records complaints about YouTube malfunctions.
In less than 10 minutes, the service received more than 200 thousand complaints about outages on Facebook and more than 45 thousand on Instagram. In particular, on Facebook, users cannot log into their account. Messenger also doesn’t work. And the picture stopped updating on Instagram. According to the service, users had problems logging into their accounts and updating pages. 60% of users have problems with web versions.
Meta itself has not yet commented on the failure.
