During the Russian presidential elections in Greece there will be two voting stations

For Russians in Greece to vote in the Russian presidential elections, polling stations will open in Athens and Thessaloniki.

Russian Ambassador to Greece Andrei Maslov said this in an interview with Parliamentary Newspaper:

“For Russian citizens living in Greece and temporarily staying on its territory, two voting stations for the presidential elections in the Russian Federation will be open on March 17: in Athens and Thessaloniki.”

He noted that the diplomatic mission will provide timely information on the voting procedure, time and place, which will be available on the official website, as well as on the embassy and consulate general accounts on social networks. Maslov noted:

“The priority remains ensuring the safety of voters and the exercise of their right to express their will. So far there have been no difficulties or obstacles from local authorities, and we do not expect any in the future.”

The Federation Council scheduled elections for March 17, 2024. The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation decided that voting will last three days: March 15, 16 and 17. Thus, this will be the first three-day presidential election in Russia, writes GreekReporter.
