The Tourism for All program is approaching. In the new tourist season, thousands of beneficiaries will be paid amounts from 200 to 400 euros so that they can allow themselves at least a little rest.
According to the newspaper “Απογευματινή”, the application platform for the new program “Διακοπές για Όλους” is expected to open in the coming days.
Beneficiaries of the new program are those who filed a 2022 tax return and it was processed at the time of filing.
The selection of beneficiaries is carried out through a “lottery drawing”.
Amounts that beneficiaries will receive:
- Citizens meeting the income criteria will receive 200 euros
- Citizens will receive 300 euros:
- singles or widows with dependent children, based on the latest confirmation when applying for the 2022 personal income tax return,
- are married or are parties to a cohabitation agreement and have three or more young children. It is noted that the presence of the specified number of children can be referred to in order to receive a larger amount of assistance only once.
- Pensioners of all funds with a final decision on the assignment of an old-age pension before 12/31/2022, meeting the criteria.
Further, 400 euros can be received by disabled people with a valid decision on total disability of 67% (or more) at the time of filing the application, as well as beneficiaries with disabled children (degree of disability 67% or more) at the time of filing the application in the manner provided for in Article 5. It is noted that a reference to disabled status (for an increased amount) is accepted only once.
In the case of a beneficiary who meets the conditions of more than one of the above categories, the application is classified into category with the maximum subsidy amount. The above amounts relate exclusively to the beneficiary and do not increase in the case of dependent members.
Income criteria
Individual unmarried or widowed:
- Without children: 19,000 euros
- With 1 child: 20,500 euros
- With 2 children: 22,000 euros
- With 3 children: 24,000 euros
- With many children: 29,000 euros.
Family (married or civil partnership):
- Without children: 31,000 euros
- With 1 child: 32,500 euros
- With two children: 34,000 euros
- With 3 children: 36,000 euros
- With many children: 41,000 euros.
The funds are credited to a digital debit card issued for this purpose. The card is valid until December 31, 2024.
