Having stopped near a store in the center of Athens, the car owner, who had made a purchase, did not find the car he had parked with his wife in it.
The car was stolen, but the criminals simply did not notice the presence of the woman inside the car and fled at full speed in an unknown direction.
The incident occurred on Saturday the third of February. An upset elderly man contacted the police, explaining that his wife, who was “stolen” along with the car, suffered from dementia.
Fortunately, everything ended well, writes CNN Greece. Having discovered the woman, the carjackers abandoned the car on Ionia Avenue and quickly retreated. That’s where the police found the car. The woman feels well. Perhaps, due to her illness, she did not even fully understand what had happened.
