A woman hired as a nanny for two children in Kalamata was arrested for abusing them.
Her relationship with her charges was recorded by a video surveillance camera installed by the mother after she noticed changes in the children’s behavior.
The 36-year-old woman was hired as a nanny for the children – a three-year-old girl and a 19-month-old boy – in December last year. Noticing that their behavior had changed somewhat, the mother installed cameras in the house and discovered on videotape cases of verbal and psychological violence against their children. In some incidents, the nanny shook them violently and screamed loudly at the frightened children.
How writes flamis.gr edition, the mother of minors filed a lawsuit for cruelty to her children. Employees of the Kalamata security subdepartment found the nanny in the city center and detained her. Since a case has been opened against her, she will be handed over to the competent prosecutor.
