A 23-year-old Roma man, whose whereabouts have finally been established, has been arrested for brutally beating his partner’s 4-year-old son. Due to severe beatings, the child ended up in intensive care, and doctors had to fight for his life.
The culprit was brought to the investigator and prosecutor. And the child was saved. Now he has been transferred from intensive care to the general ward. On January 18, an arrest warrant was issued charging the gypsy with attempted murder and causing grievous bodily harm. The monster was found hiding in an abandoned house. The man was seen several times in the camp in Vlicho Megaron, where he lived, and was reported to the authorities.
According to the uncle of the four-year-old child, the baby has been discharged from intensive care and is being treated in a regular ward. As he himself emphasizes, the arrest of the Roma was the best thing that could happen to stop him beating the children of his partner.
“The nephew was transferred from intensive care to a regular ward. In a few days they will do tests and x-rays, but he is already better. Fortunately for the children, this sadist was arrested, and I am grateful to the police. We were not sure what else he would do to the children.” , says uncle protothema.gr.
