Auctions: what to expect in the first two months of 2024


Around 10,000 auctions are planned for the new year in Greece. Enterprises that have gone down in history as the “diamonds” of the real estate industry will change hands in 2024.

The most expensive property on the list was the building on Singru Avenue, which until December 2019 housed the 4-star Athenaeum Palace & Luxury Suites hotel. The company was in the process of searching for potential buyers or tenants of its properties. The auction is for an industrial warehouse which consists of a main production building on the ground floor of 4800 sqm, followed by a basement area of ​​1200 sqm.

Lainopoulos’ company, which has been identified with Mercedes-Benz cars since it was the largest Mercedes dealer in Greece for decades, will also be put up for auction on February 21. The property is the property of a company complex and family headquarters, located on the Athens-Lamia highway, at the height of Kifissia. The first offer price was set at €3.93 million, with Cepal as the bidder.

According to the data presented in the assessment report, this is a land plot with a total area of ​​6,497.00 sq.m. or 6,435.00 sq.m. according to the National Land Cadastre or 6,192.48 sq.m. based on the topographical map of the Department of Urban Planning. The described site is located on the 16th km of the Athens-Lamia national road and in the territory of block 1-2 of the industrial park of the municipality of Kifissia.

The next auction will concern Alfa Wood Pindos in Grevena. The industrial property in Grevena is expected to go up for auction on January 24, 2024. The starting price is set at €13,279,066, which is significantly lower than the starting price of €27,019 million in December 2019.
