"Present" for Christmas – a child was bitten by a dog

In Kamatero, a northern suburb of Athens, a 9-year-old child was hospitalized after being attacked by a dog.

He was taken to the hospital by ambulance – on Christmas Eve, the boy was attacked by a family dog. She ran away from her owner and attacked the child, biting him in the arm and leg. He was taken to the Hagia Sophia Children’s Hospital.

The dog’s owner was arrested for recklessly causing bodily harm and violating the pet law. After taking his testimony, by decision of the prosecutor’s office, he was released. writes CNN Greece.

“He was in shock, he didn’t even cry when I came and found him. My nieces, who were not bitten but experienced psychological shock, cried, and the baby did not cry from shock. He had two wounds on his leg, we went and stitched them up. Two wounds are quite deep. The dog’s owner showed no interest in the child, he simply disappeared,” told father of a 9 year old child.
