Athens to offer festive meals to homeless people at Christmas

Each meal will include a main course, appetizers, Christmas sweets and soft drinks. The municipality also said it had distributed food, gifts for children and other essential goods to thousands of families living in poverty, which has increased significantly in Greece in recent years.
