The publication Die Welt, taking into account the list of military assistance requested by Ukraine from the United States and indicating the direction, believes that in 2024 Kyiv will launch a counter-offensive.
Die Welt says, citing security expert and political adviser Nico Lange, that the main direction of the new “counter-offensive” is possible in the Kherson region. As Lange suggests, “Ukraine is likely gathering resources for a new counteroffensive next year.”
The plans of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny are confirmed by the list of requested weapons: Black Hawk and Apache helicopters, F-16 aircraft, various missile systems, Abrams tanks, drones and ammunition. The publication notes:
“The Ukrainian order hints at a new attempt to transition to maneuver warfare, possibly using a combination of different combat systems, which was never realized during the Ukrainian counter-offensive in the summer.”
As the media reported and our publication wrote, the Pentagon sent Lieutenant General Antonio Aguto to Ukraine. His position will be the shadow commander of the Ukrainian army, writes BB.LV.
