Armed robbery of a bakery in Nea Eritrea – 20,000 euros stolen

An armed robbery occurred at dawn on Tuesday (12/19) at a barbecue shop in the Nea Eritrea area, on Harilaou Trikoupis street no. 123.

Two men in hoods and black clothing burst into the store and demanded money from the cashier at gunpoint. The robbers took packages of money from the previous days amounting to about 20,000 euros and some documents related to the second store of the chain, located in Kifissia. While fleeing, they did not fail to grab money from the cash register.

Then the two criminals got into a white car and drove off in an unknown direction. The police went to the scene and took statements from the victims. An investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators.
