Crete: Large numbers of skulls and bones are thrown away like trash

The eerie, sickening images were captured by cretaone.gr journalists at a cemetery located in the village of Avdou in the municipality of Hersonissos near Heraklion (Crete).

Human bones can be seen scattered inside the destroyed building, which has been turned into… a landfill! As you can see from the photos, most of the boxes are open, others are completely destroyed, and countless skulls and bones are literally thrown out like… trash.
