Rapper Don Leon "passed" yourself on social networks

In the regiment of idiots who, for the sake of their own hype, talked about their crimes on social networks, new character. We are talking about a famous Greek rapper who wears stage name Don Leon.

In the criminal world, as in society as a whole, there are both geniuses and talents, and quite ordinary, and sometimes just stupid individuals. Among the latter, there were even those who “loved” communication on social networks so much that this became the reason for their exposure.

In addition to his singing career, musician Nikiforos Bouklis, who goes by the stage name Don Leon, blew up and hacked ATMs, while filming and posting on the Internet photographs and videos with stacks of 50 and 100 euro bills, as well as the process of hacking ATMs.

It is known that Nikiforos Bouklis was first arrested in July 2021 for the same acts. In January 2023, the rapper was released from prison, as 18 months of pretrial detention had expired, and therefore he was released, leaving the correctional facility in which he was located.

Shortly after his release, Don Leon released songs about his “adventure” with the law, in his own way explaining to his fans why he was behind bars and what his new – not very different – life is like.

In several videos he posted on social media, he shows off wads of cash. One comment reads, “I visit the site twice a month,” while another reads, “I cut black money.”

Moreover, in one of his posts he does not hesitate to ridicule and even joke about the serious charges that were brought against him after his first arrest. In the video he posted on tik tok, he writes the caption: “When you ban ATMs” (“Όταν έχεις BAN από τα ΑΤΜ”), and the word “ban” means a ban, and, turning to the girl, jokingly shouts to her: “This is forbidden zone for me, so I sit on the other side of the street.”

In the video, the girl – it is unknown if she is the 28-year-old rapper’s girlfriend – stands in front of an ATM and tries to “withdraw” money, in what is likely a wake-up call for Don Leon’s 18-month pre-trial detention.

Don Leon is far from the first rapper to hand himself over to the police with his boastful social media posts. A few years ago, a Brooklyn court sentenced rapper Ronald Herron, who performed under the pseudonym Ra Diggs. He was found guilty of a series of murders that he filmed and inserted into his videos.

The 33-year-old rapper was sentenced to 12 life sentences and 105 years in prison. Ronald himself helped prove his guilt to the police and the court. The criminal decided to “boast” on his Facebook page that he kills people, and also engages in robberies, racketeering and selling drugs. He even kept his own blog on social networks, where he spoke in detail about his illegal acts.

The rapper’s lawyers insisted that the performer’s biography has nothing to do with his stage image, but eyewitnesses to the crimes argued the opposite. It has now been proven that Herron is a bloodthirsty criminal who sought power over people through intimidation and violence.

The M-16 rifle that fell into the hands of the criminals could have been imported from Ukraine

Judging by the fact that Don Leon has already been charged with attempted murder and serial murder, forgery of documents, theft, robbery, possession and use of firearms, incl. and the M-16 assault rifle, for many years his only spectators will be his cellmates and, at best, prison guards.
