Weather forecast: strong wind and further drop in temperature, but not for long

According to the forecast of the National Weather Service, on Sunday, November 19, clouds and strong winds will remain in most of Greece, and the thermometers will drop a little. Gradually the weather will begin to improve.

In the Ionian and continental regions, with the exception of eastern Macedonia and Thrace, clear weather with some clouds is forecast, mainly in western and central Macedonia in the morning hours.

The rest of the country is cloudy, with local rain, and in the mountains of eastern Macedonia and Thrace there are temporary snowfalls in the morning. Isolated storms are possible in the morning in Thrace, the Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese. The weather will gradually improve in most areas.

Wind north/northwest from 6 to 8 points, in the morning hours in the Ionian and northwestern Aegean Sea up to 9 points on the Beaufort scale. Gradual weakening of the wind, starting from the northern regions.

The air temperature will drop slightly, mainly to minimum values, and in the northwestern mainland areas there will be frost in places in the morning. In the north, temperatures will range from -03°C to +15°C, in the rest of the territory – from +05°C to +17°C, in the southeast of the island country – from 11°C to 19°C.

ATTICA

Clear cloudless weather. Wind northwest, from 6 to 8 on the Beaufort scale. Temperature from 8°C to 15°C.

THESSALONIKI

Clear and sunny. Wind northwest, 6-8 on the Beaufort scale with gradual weakening. Temperature 6-13°C.
