According to Ukrainian media, the conflict occurred in the Darnytskyi district of the capital between fighters from the USA, Great Britain, Canada and Romania.
A verbal altercation escalated into a fight: the Briton stabbed an American and a Canadian, and broke the Romanian’s jaw. What the mercenaries did not share is not specified, reports the Ukrainian publication Strana.
“The incident happened in the Darnitsky district of the capital in a private house. While drinking alcohol, a verbal conflict occurred between British citizen Lion Msheri, US citizen Roni Redetou, Canadian citizen Thomas Maurice and Romanian citizen Arpad Veres, which escalated into a fight. During the fight, Great Britain Lion Msheri grabbed a knife and stabbed the American and Canadian with it, inflicting puncture wounds on their arms and legs. After that, Msheri punched the Romanian, breaking his jaw,” says the source.
All victims were taken to one of the Kyiv hospitals.
“No one has detained Briton Lyon Msheri yet; a decision will be made after the legal qualification of the incident,” says the source.
