A Ukrainian was detained in Turkey for beating to death Azerbaijani robbers who took 35,000 euros from him.
How reports Hurriyet publication, Alanya authorities in the Turkish province of Antalya took into custody Dmitry Ts., who dealt with the robbers immediately after the incident. The investigation revealed that he was sitting in his parked car when two men approached on a motorcycle. This happened on Friday, in front of a hotel in the Mahmutlar area.
Threatening with a pistol, Azerbaijanis Murat O. and Elnur B. demanded to open the window in the car, but the Ukrainian refused. Then they broke the glass with the handle of a pistol and demanded that the bag be given to them. After refusal, they shot and snatched a bag containing 35 thousand euros, jumped on a motorcycle and tried to escape.
Dmitry was not at a loss and rushed in pursuit. Retribution overtook the robbers after 300 meters – the Ukrainian’s car was hit by a motorcycle, as a result of which both criminals died on the spot.
Many gendarmerie and medical teams were sent to the scene. They arrived at the specified address and found that Murat O. and Elnur B. had died. Officers recovered a handgun and spent casing during a preliminary investigation at the scene. During the investigation, a large amount of money in the bag became known.
Dmitry was detained on charges of death of the suspects. Another person was detained who allegedly had connections with the deceased extortion suspects. Both were taken to the Alanya court. Surveillance cameras recorded the development of events.
