Athens: Bloody man sought salvation in a store

On Wednesday morning, November 1, the police station located in the center of Athens received a call.

Initial reports indicate a man with a stab wound entered the store asking for help, causing concern for those inside. The staff called the police and called an ambulance. The victim was taken to the hospital.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 9:25, when a man with a penetrating wound to the abdomen, bleeding, burst into the store located at the intersection of Marni and Averof streets. The staff and customers of the outlet were shocked. Store employees immediately made appropriate calls asking for help. EKAB arrived and the victim was immediately taken to the Evangelismos hospital.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident. The circumstances under which the man was stabbed are also being established.
