According to the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, the amount that beneficiaries who join the Nanny Next Door (“Νταντάδες της γειτονιάς”) program will receive is doubled.
In particular, as stated in a joint decision of the Ministers of Finance, Social Cohesion and Family, Home Affairs, Immigration, Asylum, and Digital Governance, beneficiaries whose applications are accepted for inclusion in the program will receive an amount of €500 per month (from the original assigned amount of 250 euros).
The amount is issued for the guardianship and care of infants (the selection of a candidate is carried out from the appropriate register). €500 will be given in cases where the parent works full time or is self-employed.
According to the same decision, unemployed mothers, parents working part-time or once again receiving a referral to kindergarten will receive a monthly amount of 300 euros (from 150 € as was originally).
