Increasingly, international companies are canceling flights to Israel due to the difficult security situation. Israeli airlines continue to operate as usual.
How tells BB.LV, the Civil Aviation Authority (RATA) has published a list of all airlines that have canceled flights to Israel and those that continue to fly:
- Examples of companies that have canceled flights: Delta, United, American Airlines, Air Canada, Air India, Lufthansa, Swiss, Turkish, Air France, British Airways, etc.
- Examples of companies continuing flights: El Al, Israir, Arkia, Blue Bird, TUS, Fly Dubai, Etihad.
If you need to fly to Israel now, your options include various rescue flights or a flight via an intermediate destination. Athens and Larnaca are the destinations with the most flights to Israel. El Al* operates rescue flights to the following destinations: New York, Bangkok, Athens, Frankfurt.
