The robber was arrested 11 years later. The 51-year-old man had previously been charged with theft and drug offences.
He was arrested this morning, 22/10, as a result of the investigation and use of information by members of the investigation department of the Attica Police Department. A court decision was reportedly awaiting, by which he was sentenced to a total of 7 years in prison.
The man was in the Marathonas area. 11 years ago he robbed and wounded a woman. According to ΕΛΑΣ, in July 2012, the accused, riding a two-wheeler, snatched a bag containing a significant amount of money from a walking woman, causing her to fall and suffer serious injuries. In addition, the detainee was charged with previously committed theft and violating the law on narcotic substances. The man will be brought before a competent prosecutor.
