At a time when the price of olive oil broke all records, desperate citizens went so far as to take to the streets and pluck olives from green spaces and ornamental olive trees.

The price of olive oil has reached 14 euros/liter, and distributors and traders are responsible for this increase, since producers sell it at 4.80-5 euros/liter.

That is, to one degree or another salts of heavy metals will accumulate in the fruits of those trees that grow on the streets of the metropolis. Eating them can negatively affect the human hematopoietic and nervous systems. The fruits have a toxic effect on the entire body.

“Often the fruits of trees and bushes poisoned by salts of heavy metals are ugly, covered with strange small spots, the leaves of such trees also have various lesions,” the expert continues. “It is these signs (except for the fact that the tree grows near a busy highway – approx. ed.) should alert you. Such lesions are typical when there is an excess of first of all lead, then cadmium and copper. And a little tin.”
