Posing as a chef, the fraudster pulled off a scam, as a result of which he illegally enriched himself by more than 8,000 euros.
A fraud case was opened against a 52-year-old citizen after a 29-year-old restaurant owner in Milos reported to the police. According to the businessman, the man, pretending that he would work in a restaurant as a chef and needed to buy professional equipment, “extorted” 8,855 euros from the businessman.

The fraud case was initiated by local police officers. They intend to find the fraudster in the near future and punish according to the law.
