On Monday, a 55-year-old man died in an industrial accident after falling from the machine he was using to clean railway tracks in Idomeni, northern Greece.
The engineering company employee is the latest victim of work-related accidents in Greece, which have reached a record high in 2023. The “human loss” in the workplace has alarmed European institutions and collective bodies in Europe, he said.
