The Deputy Mayor for Public Works of the Municipality of Chalkida, Georgios Panos, turned the polling station into a “bouzouxidiko” shortly before the election date, 10/8/2023.
According to the publication eviazoom.gr, which published a video of the celebration, which took place in a place equipped for voting, it all began after a visit to the site to endorse the candidate for mayor of the city of Evia, Georgios Spyros.
As soon as Georgios Spyros left, uncontrollable fun (“bouzouki”) began at the polling station, i.e. a party with music, dancing and, of course, souvlaki.
