A four-year-old girl was found locked in a parked car with the windows closed on the main street of Chalkis.
According to the website evima.gr, the incident occurred on the afternoon of September 27 on Konstantinidou Street after Avanton, when a neighbor, who had gone out to throw out garbage, noticed a child in a locked parked car.

The loud crying and screams of the girl, who had apparently been left there by her parents or some other relative, mobilized the man, who realized what had happened. He rushed to find the owner of the car/parents of the child, thinking that they must be somewhere nearby.

Fortunately, the girl’s mother was found. And if the man had called the police, the grieving mother would have been brought to justice. The perpetrators in such cases are accused of “endangering the life and health of a minor.”

It is strange that after numerous high-profile similar cases, widely covered in the media, parents are still negligent in their responsibilities.
Let us remind you that recently a child locked in a car died (suffocated) in a car. The parent was put on trial.
