There was an emergency at Lamia High School – a student leaned on a metal fence, it collapsed, and the boy fell from a height of five meters. He will have surgery on both legs.
The incident occurred on Monday, September 25, and the teenager is now in the orthopedic clinic at the Children’s Hospital. In addition to problems with his legs, he has many injuries throughout his body, including the spine.
During recess, a 13-year-old high school student tried to lean his back on the school railings, which easily broke off underneath him. Teachers rushed to help the teenager who had fallen from a height. An ambulance transported the victim to the Athens Children’s Hospital.
