The Russians, apparently in a desire to avenge the attack on Sevastopol, carried out a fierce attack on the port of Odessa using Kalibr cruise missiles and kamikaze drones, hitting port facilities, facilities, warehouses of Western weapons and ammunition, and destroying the largest military command post in southern Ukraine .
According to Russian media reports, which cite the Russian Ministry of Defense, hundreds of Western mercenaries lived in the attacked hotel.

“Probably the target was not the hotel itself, but what was underneath it. Anyone who has been to those places and to the sea terminal itself understands what we are talking about. The hotel simply burned down, and did not collapse.”– write the authors of the Ukrainian TG channel Legitimate.
“Everyone knows that there are a lot of Gepard installations in the port and there were previously BUKs. The hotel itself could house a lot of things. For example, a “night shelter” for “visiting soldiers”, operational centers, information centers, coordination centers, an anti-aircraft crew on the roof or MANPADS, well etc.,” the authors of legitimniy clarify.

Following the Onyx missiles, a new series of Caliber cruise missiles were launched in the direction of Odessa. The attack followed literally a couple of days after the hit 2 missiles into the historical building of the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopolto which Russia reacted very painfully.

The GUR stated that as a result of this strike, the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Viktor Sokolov, was killed. Also, according to them, a total of 34 Russian officers were killed, and another 105 Russian military personnel were injured. In Russia, this information (as usual) was not confirmed.
The information being refuted is too simple for a fake to be true, so it is unlikely to be untrue. There’s nothing to guess for now. We are waiting for a couple of days, if the Russian side does not refute and demonstrate the commander, then everything will become clear.
Together with the victims of the strike on the dock of the ship repair plant. S. Ordzhonikidze in Sevastopol, where Ukrainian missiles hit the landing ship “Minsk”, the number of victims, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate, is 62 Russian servicemen.
