LAMDA Development has completed the construction of a Care Center for Persons with Disabilities.
The completion of the project was carried out at the expense of the concern’s own funds. The invested amount is 15 million euros. This is a standard complex that will house 4 societies for the disabled – “Amimoni”, “Germis”, “Niki-Victor Artant”, “Association of People with Multiple Sclerosis” (4 σωματεία ΑμεΑ: “Αμυμώνη”, “Ερμής”, “Νίκη – Victor Artant”, “Σύλλογος Ατόμων με Σκλήρυνση κατά Πλάκας”), was the main priority of LAMDA Development at the initial stage. The concern has committed itself to opening the first building in Elliniko as soon as possible, which will become a “new home” for vulnerable citizens.
A care center for people with disabilities will open in the new building in September 2023. The relocation from the old buildings of 4 societies for the disabled will be helped by the LAMDA Development company (covering transportation costs).
With a total construction area of 11,500 sq.m. on a plot of 7400 sq.m. which has already been handed over to the new owner, the municipal authorities of Elliniko-Argyroupoli, the new Care Center for People with Disabilities has a unique environment and its creation was originally aimed at improving everyday life for both children and adults who need optimal care and have right to it.
