Weather forecast until the end of August

It’s hot and windy again today. Sakis Arnautoglu told what to expect from the weather in the next few days, until September 2.

High temperatures and winds up to 7 on the Beaufort scale – this will be the weather today, August 24th. According to latest data EMY forecast, clear weather is expected in most of the country. It will be cloudy in some places in the west and north of the country in the morning, and in the afternoon in continental areas, local rains and storms are possible, mainly in Macedonia and Epirus. Due to smoke, visibility is limited in the west, north and center.

In the west of the country, the winds are weak. In other parts of Greece, the wind is northern, from 3 to 5 points, in the Aegean Sea in places up to 6 and even 7 points on the Beaufort scale. The temperature will not change significantly: 32-36°C on the islands and 36-38°C on the mainland.

ATTICA

Clear weather. Wind north of 4 to 5 and east of 6 to 7 on the Beaufort scale, with a gradual weakening in the afternoon. The temperature is 25-36°C, in the east it is 2-3 degrees lower.

THESSALONIKI

Partly cloudy, local rains and thunderstorms are possible – mostly in the afternoon. The wind is weak, variable, south in the afternoon, up to 4 points on the Beaufort scale. Temperature 21-36°C.

Generally clear weather. In the midday and afternoon hours, clouds will appear in the continental regions, and local rains and separate thunderstorms will pass in the mountains. The wind in the west is changeable and weak, in other areas it is northern, from 3 to 5 points, in the Aegean Sea in some places up to 6 points on the Beaufort scale.

In the north, the temperature will slightly decrease, in other regions it will remain at the high level of the season, reaching 32-36°C on the islands and 35-37°C on the mainland.

In the morning, clear weather with local clouds in Thessaly, and in the midday and afternoon hours in the west, in the center, in the north and in Crete, there will be local rains and individual storms.

The wind in the west is weak, in other areas it is northern, from 3 to 5 points, in the Aegean Sea in some places up to 6 points on the Beaufort scale. Temperatures will drop slightly throughout Greece.

Slight local increase in clouds, mainly on the mainland and Crete, during the midday and afternoon hours, with the possibility of temporary local rain. Wind northwest from 3 to 5 points, in the Aegean Sea in some places up to 6 points on the Beaufort scale. The temperature will not change significantly.

Clear weather, some cloudiness will intensify in places in the continental highlands during midday and afternoon hours, local rains are possible. The wind on the continent is weak, in other areas it is northerly, with a force of 3-5 on the Beaufort scale. Temperatures will rise slightly across the country.
