Violation of the double line can lead to dangerous situations such as premature or reckless overtaking, which can lead to serious traffic accidents.
However, this is the most common disorder in which we often suffer. Recently, a man was killed at one of the points of the coastal road, who made a U-turn in violation of the double dividing line.
We commit this violation every day on all roads, since overtaking is prohibited on almost 70% of the road network with a double median. If at some point these violations were recorded by traffic control cameras, then we would be talking about fines of millions of euros …
So, according to the Road Traffic Code (KDP), violation of the double median lane is a serious offense and is punishable a fine of 700 euros and the seizure of rights and license plates for a period of 20 days.
