Plane with Prigogine on board crashes in Tver region

Ten people died in the crash of a private plane in the Tver region, the Russian Emergencies Ministry said. The Federal Air Transport Agency said that among the passengers is the name and surname of Yevgeny Prigozhin.

As specified in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the crashed business jet followed from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Rescuers work at the crash site.

First, telegram channels reported about the plane crash in the Tver region. Baza and Mash, in particular, wrote that this is an Embryer business jet.

TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak wrote in her Telegram channel that the crashed plane allegedly belonged to the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin.

Yevgeny Prigogine really owns Embraer Legacy 600 aircraft. The tail number of Prigozhin’s aircraft is RA-02795. According to the Flight Radar service, a plane with this number took off from Moscow at 15:11 and disappeared over the Tver region at an altitude of about 8500 meters.

According to the press service of the government of the Tver region, the governor of the region, Igor Rudenya, took personal control of the plane crash.
