Thessaloniki: a drunk resident of an apartment building went out on a balcony with a firearm (video)

On Tuesday, August 15, during the daytime, a man with a weapon while intoxicated was noticed on the balcony of a house in Thessaloniki.

At noon, the police received a call from the eastern district of the city, from Vasilisis Olgas Street: there was an armed man on the balcony of an apartment building. How tells thestival.gr, after intra-family “showdowns”, the man went out onto the balcony and took out a carbine. According to eyewitnesses, he was intoxicated.

The police cordoned off the area around the house. Calmly and professionally, law enforcement officers from the immediate response group managed to convince the armed man to hand over his weapon and surrender, and then handcuffed him.

The man was taken to the security department of Harilau-Analifseo. The detainee will be prosecuted for possession of a weapon, the newspaper writes.
