Social tourism: lists of recipients published


Today, Monday 7 August 2023, on the website www.dypa.gov.gr the final lists of recipients and refusers of the social tourism program for 2023-2024 have been published. for self-employed pensioners of the State Employment Service (DYPA).

The final lists of beneficiaries concern 25,000 social tourism checks. The program will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, August 8, 2023, and end on August 7, 2024.

The lists include Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos, Evros and Rhodes. Beneficiaries and beneficiaries can spend up to 6 nights in a tourist accommodation selected by them from the DYPA “Supplier Register”, by direct agreement with the supplier, for a relatively small fee.

In particular, when staying on the islands of Leros, Lesbos, Chios, Kos and Evros, you can spend up to 10 nights, and when staying on the islands of North Evia and Samos, as well as Rhodes (after the publication of the relevant EIA) – up to 12 nights and completely free of charge.

Subsidy rates remain increased by 20% in the peak month of August, and also increase by 20% during the Christmas (15/12/2023 to 14/01/2024) and Easter (26/04/2024 to 12/5/2024) periods. The increase applies to living in Northern Evia, Samos and Rhodes throughout the year (after the publication of the EIA).

In addition to accommodation in tourist hotels, ferry tickets with a small contribution are subsidized for the general category of beneficiaries and for families with many children. For the disabled, ferry tickets are provided free of charge.
