Man attacked bus driver by smashing glass with his fist


The incident took place on the evening of Thursday, August 3, in the Oreokastro district of Thessaloniki, when, for some unknown reason, an extremely aggressive man smashed the window of a ΚΤΕΛ bus with his fist.

According to what is known so far, the male driver of the passenger car overtook the bus, which was moving in the Oreokastro area, and forced the vehicle to stop. Then he got out of the car, went to the cab and smashed the glass on the driver’s side with his fist. There were no casualties as a result of the incident.

According to oraiokastro24.gr, the ΚΤΕΛ bus was moving up Komninon Street, the main road outside of I. N. Agios Athanasios, when a car cut it off, forcing it to stop.

According to witnesses: “The bus was driving normally and at first we did not understand why it had stopped. Then we saw that the enraged driver of the car broke the driver’s side window of the ΚΤΕΛ bus with all his might. Shards rained down.”

The driver is in good health, he has minor injuries – cuts on his hands from fragments that fell on them and psychological shock.
