Fire in Kuvaras: how horses were saved (photo-video)

According to the MEGA TV channel, today in the Kuvaras area there was literally a battle to save the horses: volunteers rescued animals abandoned to their fate.

As the fire in Neos Kouvaras reached the grounds of the equestrian club where 15 horses are kept, volunteers were urged to immediately pick them up from the equestrian club in Anavyssos.

As we reported earlier, today in the metropolitan area of ​​Attica, in the area Kuvaras in mountainous area, a big fire started. Due to wind gusts reaching 8 Beaufort, the fire quickly spread toatyu territory, capturing the outskirts of the settlements of Anavyssos, Lagonisi, Saronida, Kouvaras and Kaliva.

All available reserves of ground fire brigades, volunteers, and fire aviation have been deployed to extinguish the fire. The police and the military joined the fight with the fire.

Unfortunately, control over the fire has been lost… Thousands of residents of endangered areas have been evacuated.
