The funeral of journalist Isma Tulatu, who died just a day before giving birth, will take place today, July 15, in the village of Floka in Ancient Olympia.
Isma Tulatu, according to the Alfa TV channel, died suddenly from a brain hemorrhage. She probably had an aneurysm that she didn’t even know she had.
49-year-old journalist, reporter for the TV channel “ACTION24”, covering cultural events, lost consciousness being at home. She was nine months pregnant and was due to give birth within the next 24 hours. Doctors immediately sent the woman to C-section and, tirelessly, began to desperately fight for the life of the child.
Thanks to the efforts of doctors, the baby was removed from the mother’s body. The child was first hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit of the Alexandra hospital, and then transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit of Elena Venizelu.
