Elections in Greece: the first results of the exit poll

The first results of repeated parliamentary elections in Greece, as shown by the exit poll.

A clear advantage for the New Democracy, according to the poll, it gained from 40% to 44%. The possibility of creating a nine-party parliament.

Evaluation of election results – the number of votes of voters, in accordance with the results of the exit poll, declared at 19:00 (results in brackets May round elections):

New Democracy: 40%-44% (36% – 40%)

SYRIZA: 16.1% – 19.1% (25% – 28%)

PASOK – KINAL: 10%-13% (9.5% – 12.5%)

KKE: 7.2% – 9.2% (6% – 8%)

ΣΠΑΡΤΙΑΤΕΣ 4% – 6%

Greek Solution: 2.3% – 4.3% (3.5% – 5.5%)

MPA25: 2% – 4% (2.5% – 4.5%)

ΝΙΚΗ 2.3% – 4.3%

Pλεύsi Eleftherias: 2% – 4% (2.2% – 4.2%).

If the poll results are confirmed, New Democracy could win slightly less than 160 seats in a nine-party parliament, more than 160 seats if eight parties pass the threshold, and more than 165 seats in a seven-party parliament.
