The European Union adopted the 11th package of sanctions against Russia, with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen expressing her satisfaction.
“I welcome the political agreement on the eleventh package of sanctions,” the chairwoman of the commission said in her message, adding that the new package of restrictive measures “will deal another blow to Putin’s military machine by tightening export restrictions against organizations that support the Kremlin.” “Our tool to combat the circumvention of sanctions will not allow Russia to get its hands on products that fall under the sanctions,” she concluded.
