Who is to blame for the dangerous incident in the Taiwan Strait (video)

China and the US accuse each other of provoking risk in the Taiwan Strait.

Last weekend, a US destroyer and a Chinese warship were dangerously close to each other – 137 meters. Representatives of the US armed forces declare the high danger of the episode, and China accuses Washington of “deliberately provoking risk” in the region.

It all happened during the military exercises of Canada and the United States, which took place in the strait separating Taiwan and China. The Chinese warship passed in front of the American destroyer, thereby forcing it to slow down to avoid a collision, the American command said.
