The famous seaside club of Mykonos is back in the spotlight. After a scandal with violations in construction, the authorities initiated a second case against the owner.
According to the channel open, the Mykonos authorities have already sealed the shop by order of the City Planning Department. However, when the police arrived yesterday to see if the agreement was being followed, they realized that there were wooden platforms on the shore (which needed to be demolished), and the cement floor was covered with sand.
In other words, the owner of the enterprise (club) tried to convince the police that it was not necessary to demolish the illegal building. There were no employees or a legal representative of the company at the scene of the incident, so a second case was brought against a well-known store.
Recall that yesterday, 05/26/23, the police announced the initiation of two criminal cases. At the same time, the authorities began to detain a citizen who carried out illegal construction work at a new building site. As the message says, on the sealed for urban planning and other violations the enterprise discovered large-scale work to conceal and fill with sand illegal buildings.
The competent authorities have been informed of the revealed violations, and the detainee will be taken to the Syros District Court.
