Boxer dog in Elijah is found in a terrible state, she is desperately fighting for life. Two hikers from Austria called the Cresteen Animal Protection Club and reported a heavy-chained animal in a state of extreme exhaustion.
The boxer dog was in a pitiful state: without water and food, tightly tied with a chain, on the verge of death from exhaustion. She was tethered on a plot of land in Zacharo (Elijah), and every day many people indifferently passed by the unfortunate animal, writes newsbeast.gr.
Employees of the animal protection association Crestenon immediately arrived at the call of the Austrian tourists and took the dog away. However, there is very little hope that she will survive. When they untied it, they found that the chain was heavier than the dog itself.

“I have 14 dogs and 30 cats at home that I take care of and make sure they are in good conditions. I can’t have them all fed and one left without food. A few days ago I found an emaciated dog wandering down the street. The vet I took her to found she had been bitten by a snake and had multiple organ failure.
