In Bangkok, they brutally killed and tried to dismember the Ukrainian model

In one of the hotels in the capital of Thailand, a semi-dismembered body of a 24-year-old Ukrainian model was found.

Alena Savchenko, writes The Sun was found in a hotel room, where she went with the owner of the advertising business and never left.

Arriving at the scene of the crime, the police discovered a terrible picture, the publication describes:

“Her face was covered in blood, and her head was partially cut off with a deep incision from the neck to the left shoulder. The victim’s left arm was also cut off at the wrist, and ambulance doctors found a knife wound on her chest. Next to the body, the police found a bloody saw bought from a nearby hardware store “.

A 25-year-old British businessman of Polish origin, Jan Jerzy Lagoda-Filippov, who had an advertising business registered in London, is suspected of killing a Ukrainian woman. The girl used to participate in his photo shoots. The two of them entered the hotel room, and no one else saw the girl.

Investigators believe Alena was dead about a day before she was found and was killed the previous weekend. Police Lieutenant Colonel Pongpun Phonharn from the Wat Phraya Kray district station said:

“The victim arrived at the room with her boyfriend on April 29, but he left without her around noon on May 15. We learned that he hired a taxi for 1,500 baht (44 US dollars) to take him to the province of Sa Keo. He probably tried to cross the border into Cambodia.”

Lagoda-Filippov left the hotel too hastily, which aroused the suspicion of the guards.

The man got into a taxi whose driver, 56-year-old Surachai Sabaibang, says:

“He told me via Google Translate that he wanted to play at the casino. When he couldn’t find a suitable place to play, he asked me through the app to help him dismember his girlfriend’s body for 1,500 baht ($44).”

Lagoda-Philippov’s murder suspect was detained Monday evening at the Aranyaprathet border checkpoint, 135 miles from Sa Keo province. A 25-year-old man was taken to the Wat Phraya district police station for questioning, the police informed the Polish Embassy of his arrest. The investigation is ongoing. Pongpun Fonharn, police lieutenant colonel, says:

“The suspect was very calm when he was arrested. It was about 4 o’clock in the morning when he was caught. He drank coffee in his cell and began exercising as if it were his regular morning routine. He didn’t say anything. We contacted the Polish embassy and agreed that the embassy staff would arrive later today.”
