Greece successfully placed 10-year and 15-year bonds

The auction of 10-year and 15-year bonds held by the Public Debt Management Office on Wednesday aroused strong investor interest.

The Greek state raised 400 million euros at auctions, and bids reached 2.187 billion euros.

The interest rate on the 10-year bonds has been set at 3.98% compared to the coupon of 4.25% from the initial issue of the bonds on January 24, 2023, and the yield on the 15-year bonds has been set at the level of 4.14%.

The Greek state has raised €6.7bn in bond auctions this year, very close to the €7.0bn target for this year. In 2022, Greece’s government borrowing program amounted to 8.3 billion euros.
