From early morning, the Athenians rushed to the city beach of Flisvos to swim for the first time this season.
Due to the fact that spring is long this year, and warm days came only in mid-May, many citizens immediately decided to take advantage of this and rushed to the sea. Flisvos Beach in Paleo Faliro has always been a “place of honor” among their favorites. Today, from early morning, young and old came here to relax and swim.
Intimenews photo lens and photographer Nikos Panagiotopoulos visited Flisvos and captured the summer picture that prevails in the country today. In many parts of the country, meteorologists predict 30-degree heat.
According to EMY, today, Sunday (14/5), the air temperature has risen, mainly in the central and southern regions. In the north of the country it will reach +21-23°С, in other regions +23-25°С, and in some places on the southern islands up to +26-30°С.
And in Athens, the heat and African dust in the atmosphere created a “sultry cocktail”.
