Retired US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor mentioned the fatal mistakes Western leaders could make if the situation got out of control and thanked God that Russian President Vladimir Putin is, in his words, “restrained.”
We have previously quoted statement Retired Greek Air Force Major General Pavlos Christou, in which he said that the Ukrainian leadership made a very big mistake by moving the fighting to the cities – this is a crime against their own people.
“We should be grateful that Mr. Putin is restrained. He is not the one who is controlled by emotions, thank God. But here we are very strongly controlled by emotions. And it worries me“, he said. Among other things, Douglas McGregor noted:
