There is an incredible tragedy in Arta, which could not have happened: the father … forgot his baby in the car and realized it only three hours later, after his wife called.
It all happened on Tuesday May 9th. How writes Artinos.gr, a six-month-old child remained in a closed car, fastened to a child seat in the back seat, for three hours (according to other sources – five hours) – the parent simply forgot him, like a briefcase or other thing is forgotten.
Only three hours later he caught himself and approached the car, finding his son unconscious. The baby was taken to Arta Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. To conduct an autopsy and determine the cause of death, the child was taken to Yanina. His father is also in the pathological department of the hospital.
First, the absence of the child was discovered in the kindergarten and the mother was called. She phoned her husband, but, unfortunately, too late.
The Arthas prosecutor charged the 37-year-old father of the baby with manslaughter. He is under guard in the hospital, the 27-year-old mother of the unfortunate baby is in the same place. Relatives and colleagues of the couple are in the hospital from the first moment, trying to psychologically support their parents, with whom they cannot yet communicate due to their condition.
