French people riot in 300 cities after Macron’s speech

French President Emmanuel Macron’s arrogant speech, in which he pushed for pension reform, offering vague promises of social, economic and institutional measures, caused widespread discontent and defiant rejection throughout the country.

There are currently demonstrations in more than 300 French cities where the dominant slogan is “Macron, go away.”

Politically, the French president seems like a “political corpse” to French society. It must be understood that just a year ago he was re-elected president under the pretext that the far-right Marine Le Pen would not become head of state.

The police are trying to suppress the protests, but their forces are not enough, since these are no longer local conflicts, but in fact a general uprising. At the same time, the police are already morally and physically exhausted by prolonged clashes.

What the Greek correspondent Maria Denaksa reports from France is shocking.

It is noteworthy that Emmanuel Macron does not even think of resigning…
