Celentis to the prosecutor: “How stupid do you have to be to believe that the water from the Aegean will flow out … to Japan”

The director of the Geodynamic Institute, Akis Celentis, made a sharp new post after the intervention of the Aegean appellate prosecutor, Odysseus Tzorbatsoglu, who demanded a preliminary examination.

In particular, he said: “How stupid do you have to be to believe that there is a hole penetrating the Earth through which the Aegean Sea will pour out, and we will go to the islands in cars!”.

And his post is made even more poignant as he states: “I don’t know for sure of any country where a coach who raped 36 children, instead of being left in prison for 401 years, is released after 12 years. [зато я знаю страну, где хотят судить за первоапрельскую шутку]”.

The prosecutor’s intervention is made to establish whether the publication of Akis Tselentis on April Fool’s Day (April 1) about the volcano of Santorini is the dissemination of false news and, therefore, a criminal offense under section 191 of the Greek Criminal Code. After the prosecutor’s intervention became known, Mr. Celentis published a new post:

“I hope it’s not true… I’m being ‘judged’ for an April Fool’s joke. A person who repeatedly publicly refuted estimates of supposedly upcoming catastrophic earthquakes by some colleagues, for example, 8.5R!!! in the sea zone near Crete, 7R in Thebes 1 year ago and in on several other occasions to reassure the citizens, they forget that after the tragic images of the earthquake in Turkey entered our homes from the media, taking advantage of the global panic, for 1 minute of advertising on television they talked about catastrophic earthquakes in Greece…. And how many times I spoke publicly and denied it.

They were alarmed by an apparent April Fool’s joke that ended with a reference to how the April Fool’s Day tradition began, and included an image of Pinocchio! How stupid one must be to believe that there is a hole penetrating the Earth, through which the Aegean Sea will flow out, and we will go to the islands in cars! Let them bother to read the thousands of comments that congratulate me on April Fool’s Day. I don’t know of a case in history that someone has been prosecuted for so long for an April Fool’s joke. I also don’t know of any country that releases a coach who raped 36 children and had to spend 401 years in prison. All this confirms that my posts disturb some people and try to falsely influence the prosecutor, who quite rightly does not know the subject of seismology,” the seismologist said.

Recall that Akis Celentis on Friday at 23:50 (a few minutes before April 1) posted a text on his personal Facebook account, in which, among other things, he spoke of a high probability (30%) that all the magma that was under Santorini will flow towards Japan, creating a huge funnel under Santorini, through which water will flow from the Aegean Sea.

It’s worth noting that at the end of the post, Mr. Celentis had a link to April Fool’s Day and why we lie, as well as a photo of… Pinocchio. But apparently, he still got to the address, to the one whose day we celebrate on April 1 ….
